Join us for classic orienteering at North Chagrin Reservation on Sunday, September 10, from 11:30 – 1PM.
The Oak Hill area offers two distinct trails, the Oak Hill Trail, and the Plateau Trail. Naturally, in orienteering, we aim to get off trail for some of the controls, but this event will also feature 2 courses that are all on-trail, especially designed to bridge the gap between trail runners and orienteering. So why not come out, enjoy some trail running, and learn to orienteer at the same time?
With rain in the forecast, but no clouds in sight in the early morning, we prepared fun, but challenging courses on the Kenston Campus and surrounding woods. All courses included a mix of both traditional “in the woods” orienteering, with sprint elements on the open campus.
Join us for the third time at the beautiful Kenston Campus to run (or walk) classic+sprint courses. The Kenston Campus features a gently sloping terrain, and a nice mix of woods, open campus, grass covered areas, landscaped features, and a full array of buildings, a sports stadium, baseball fields, and more. You get to see all of it on any of the courses.
Join us for a class event at Sippo Lake Park – a small venue, with plenty of challenges for all.
Join us for a classic cross-country event in gorgeous Cuyahoga Valley. Plenty of ups and downs await in Boston Run, and this event is particularly friendly to the intermediate runner. What does that mean? If you’ve been wanting to try out a GREEN or RED course, here’s your opportunity. Not too long, and not too challenging – just right!
