Stark Park Levy needs our help!

From Bob Boltz:

When I grew up in Stark County, we played in a gravel pit that served as the area dump. The only park I remember is one in Canton. Since its modest beginning in 1967, Stark Parks has acquired 27 parks and trail segments. It is amazing that they can maintain all this with only 1 mill of tax money. Think of all the recreational and educational benefits they provide, not to mention the protection watersheds and wildlife habitat. I’ve seen some publicized opposition from a few vocal folks that have a one-item agenda. If you love your parks and realize what a difference a strong park system makes for a community, talk to your friends and neighbors. Encourage them to support our fine parks! NE Ohio Orienteering has enjoyed a terrific relationship with Stark Parks and now has maps of Walborn Reservoir, Quail Hollow, Sippo Lake and Fry Family Park.
