The Kenston Campus Sprint event, featuring a short, a long, and an advanced sprint option. All sprints will feature both campus and woods areas, and you are free to run as many of the courses as you want in the time allotted. With minimal elevation, the Kenston courses are fast, and offer any level orienteer a challenge in navigating between buildings and trees alike! For the advanced orienteer, the long course offers multiple direction changes, and a complicated butterfly (where one control is visited multiple times from various directions).
All maps will be pre-printed, and we will feature a national meet setup with maps and clue sheets only at the start, etc. Water will be available in the start area. Indoor restroom facilities will be available in the registration area. Start and finish is within 100 meters of the registration. Plenty of parking is available as well. All courses feature some travel in wooded areas, so bug and tick repellent is generally recommended.
Follow the orienteering event signs to the elementary school parking lot.
If you can’t get there until later, come and help pick up the flags!
