Oak Hill Recap
NEOOC continued to celebrate our 50th anniversary year with our first map exchange event in many, many years. Orienteers started the score course with a map showing half of the controls. They had to exchange or trade with others for the second map. Interesting and fun event. I think you will see this event format in the future. Thanks to Howard for bringing this format to life.
We had a few members do very well and navigate quickly. Josh, Phil, and Jonathan all cleared the course(s) in under 45 minutes. Good Job!
Results are posted below and Livelox replays are also available. Use Livelox as a learning tool to see how other participants navigated the courses.
Our next event will be at the Richfield Heritage Preserve. We will have 3 self serve courses out at RHP from June 20th to June 28th, check out the details here, RHP Self Serve. You’ll have an entire week to get out and orienteer on your schedule. Have Fun!
On July 19, our annual Paddle O is returning to Stark Park’s Walborn Reservoir. It’s been a few years since we been here. This event is ALWAYS a great time! Check the web and FB for details.
Hope you had fun and thanks for coming to Oak Hill!
