NEOOC Member Todd Pownell ran a few races in Atlanta, GA, last week, and reports the following:
Thought I share the orienteering fun I had last weekend in Atlanta. Attached is picture of NEOOC Ohio rabbit down south surrounded by the GAOC jerseys.
The splits are on Attackpoint here http://www.attackpoint.org/eventdetail.jsp/event_29520
I ran red on both days. Weather was overcast with intermittent rain, but still nice woods running with a lot of leaves on the ground and boulders for great scenery.
On Sat. I was running well till control 12 and totally overshot it and lost at least 7 minutes. Much better day for me on Sunday with only small errors here and there.
Both days were about 6-7km 250- 300m climb.
Way to go Todd!
