A total of 46 explored the streets of Cuyahoga Falls on a cool, partly cloudy Sunday. There were 7 starts for solo or team bike and 20 starts for solo or team hike/run/foot.
After a mass start from the Pavilion Plaza at 11 am, the runners and bikers had 4 or 3 hours respectively to find as many of the 68 checkpoints as possible. The checkpoints were selected by course planner Bob Boltz during bike rides totaling nearly 100 miles.
The search included an array of locations highlighting strange, historic and scenic wonders on a map with NO street names! Cuyahoga Falls has an amazing number of skeletons, boulders and windmills and at least one naked statue! Competitors covered distances from 8 to 27 miles during the 11th edition of this event.
