Recap
Under threatening skies and with the temperature in the high 70’s and humidity in the high 80’, the inaugural morning score event was held at North Chagrin Reservation. Sanae Rogers, with assistance from Howard Montgomery, designed and set a challenging intermediate score course and an advanced score course. While no one cleared either course in 90 minutes, a good time was had by all.
Thanks to all of our volunteers: Tam Delorme (first time volunteer), who acted as greeter, registrar, starter, and control collector, and our crew of control collectors: Todd Pownell, Bob Turanchik (who just could not get enough time in the woods-Bob did the advanced course, went out for a half hour on the intermediate course, and collected controls), and Steve Johnson.

Note that for a Score course, no participant names or split times are available within the RouteGadget website. This is currently a limitation of the RouteGadget program relative to Score type courses. However, your GPS/GPX file can still be download or your course can be drawn manually starting from the Start and ending at the Finish. You must enter you name manually when prompted. GPS/GPX courses can be adjusted by dragging the blue dots. Blue dots may be added/deleted with a right click on your track. Save if you are happy, back arrow to try again. Send us your GPX file if you are having trouble.
