KSU Scare-O | Evening-O at Kent State Campus | Sunday, October 19th

• Event format will be Score Orienteering –  The challenge of this format is to collect the most points possible within the 90 minute time window, by visiting the controls that you choose.  Stay out as long as you want, but there are severe penalties for each minute that you are late getting back to the finish.
• Place:  Kent State Campus – Kent Student Center
• Dates and Times:  Sunday, October 19th, 2025 – Check-in will be at the Kent State Student Center ( NOT the Kent State Department of Recreation and Wellness Services as we have used in the recent past).  Check-ins starting at 4:00pm. Maps distributed at 4:45pm. Mass start at 5pm.  Course will close at 6:30pm.
• There will be no water stops on the course, so runners should bring their own water supplies.
• SportIdent ePunch equipment and FULL SIZE control flags will be in use.  If using your own SI stick, it must be SI-8 or newer. MeOS can only read SI-Card 8 or newer.   If your model is older, you’ll need to borrow a club card.  Controls will not be in beacon mode.
• Livelox will be active for this event.  Sign in to the Livelox app on your smartphone to record your route directly to Livelox, or record it on your Garmin or other GPS tracker, and upload it to Livelox later.
