Details
- Event format will be Classic Orienteering– each control must be visited in the order shown on the map for the course that is chosen
- Place: Fry Family Park in Stark County, near Magnolia, OH
- Dates and Times: Sunday, May 5, 2024 – Check-in will be at the Pavilion near the Nature Center Building (follow the signage near the parking lots). Check-ins starting at 10:30am with starts from 11:00am until 12:30pm. Courses will close at 2:00pm.
- There will be no water stops on the course, so runners should bring their own water supplies.
- SportIdent ePunch equipment and FULL SIZE control flags will be in use
- Livelox will be active for this event. Sign in to the Livelox app on your smartphone to record your route directly to Livelox, or record it on your Garmin or other GPS tracker, and upload it to Livelox later.

- White – Beginner/Novice – x.xkm – y controls
- Yellow – Advanced Beginner – x.xkm – y controls
- Orange – Intermediate – x.xkm – y controls
- Green – Advanced Shorter Course – x.xkm – y controls
- Red – Advanced Longer Course – x.xkm – y controls
Preregistration and Cost
- Preregistrations, closing 9:00 pm, Friday, May 3, 2024
- $10 per Start* for Members of NEOOC or O-USA affiliated clubs
- $15 per Start* for non-Members
- Walk-up Starts on Sunday, May 5th 10:30am to 11:00am, first come, first served, subject to map availability
- $20 per Start* (Member or non-Member)
* A Start is an individual or group navigating the course together. One map is included per paid start. Additional maps, up to two, are $3 each.
You can also renew your NEOOC membership (or join) on the preregistration form. After submitting your information on the registration form, you will be directed to the PayPal website. A small offset is added to compensate for PayPal fees.
