Overview
In conjunction with Camp Tuscazoar Foundation, NEOOC is pleased to provide you with an Orienteering-only option as part of the annual Tuscazoar Adventure Race on Saturday, July 9, 2022.
The event format will be a Score-O, with 90-minute time limit. In a score-o, each control is assigned a point value, with more points assigned to controls which are more difficult to find and/or farther away from the Start/Finish. The runner’s goal is to amass as many points as possible within the 90-minute time limit. Which controls to visit, and in which order, is completely up to the runner’s choice. Plan carefully and don’t be late to the finish, as points will be deducted for every minute that the runner goes over the 90-minute time limit.

- Place: Camp Tuscazoar, Dover, OH
- Dates and Times: Saturday, July 9, 2022 – Check-in will be at the TBD starting at 10:30am, with mass start at 11:00am.
- For NEOOC members, this event will count towards the Season Championship. As part of the preregistration process, NEOOC members will need to designate the skill class that they would like to compete in.
- SportIdent ePunch equipment and FULL SIZE control flags will be in use.
- Livelox will be active for this event. Sign in to the Livelox app on your smartphone to record your route directly to Livelox, or record it on your Garmin or other GPS tracker, and upload it to Livelox later.

Preregistration and Cost
- Preregistrations, closing 12 Noon, Friday, July 8, 2022
- $10 per Start* for Members of NEOOC or O-USA affiliated clubs
- $15 per Start* for non-Members
- Walk-up Starts accepted on the day of the event from 10:30am to 11:15am
- $20 per Start* (Member or non-Member)
* A Start is an individual or group navigating the course together. One map is included per paid start. Additional maps, up to two, are $3 each.
You can also renew your NEOOC membership (or join) on the preregistration form. After submitting your information on the registration form, you will be directed to the PayPal website. A small offset is added to compensate for PayPal fees.
