Yes, FREE, for NEOOC members only! Come out and join us for a Score-O, and see what additional fun maestro Jay Smink has cooked up for your entertainment. Then stay for the aprés-run, delicious picnic that the club will provide for your enjoyment.
Not currently a member? No worries – you can join NEOOC for the special Picnic/Meeting rate of $10, which will allow you to run in this event, plus enjoy the members’ pre-registration event fees for the rest of this year.
Overview
- Score-O Format – 30 controls – FREE for NEOOC members who are current with their dues.

- At: Camp Butler – Baden-Powell Pavilion
- When: Sunday, August 13th
- Check-in starting at 1:00pm
- Mass start at 1:30pm
- Picnic and meeting at 3:30pm
- Menu: Pizza, Salad, Soft drinks, snacks, etc. – FREE!

After your free run, stay for the food and get together with fellow club members. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions and make comments and suggestions. We like to hear from you!
Event Details
- There is a 90-minute time limit for this event.
- Participants who are late to the finish will earn a deduction of 10 points per each started minute that they are late.
- Token Run rules: Collect one token from each control. At the conclusion of the course, tally your tokens by category on the score sheet provided. Random drawings will assign values for the tokens and winners will be determined in a variety of ways. We will have a few different drawings – more tokens may help or may not. Come and find out!
- FULL SIZE control flags will be in use
- Please take time to review and respect the Camp Manatoc rules and regulations, which also apply to our use of the Camp Butler property, including:
- No alcohol
- No dogs/pets
- Livelox will be active for this event. Sign in to the Livelox app on your smartphone to record your route directly to Livelox, or record it on your Garmin or other GPS tracker, and upload it to Livelox later.
